You can send and manage push notifications from your mobile app dashboard by purchasing a branded app.
Prerequisites
At the time of writing the loyalty system is included with the purchase of a white-labeled branded app for use in conjunction with the Smart Online Order system and cannot be accessed and or used otherwise.
Accessing the settings
In order to edit the splash screen on your app you will need to login to your provided login page and then click on "mobile app" from the left-hand side of the page
Once you choose that option you will then be able to click on the push notifications option available on the now-opened mobile app menu, click on that option:
Managing Push Notifications
On the following page you will be on the main menu for the push notification function:
Scheduled
This section refers to push notifications that you have previously scheduled and are awaiting the designated distribution time to be sent out, you will be able to edit or delete scheduled messages using the options available on the message that you wish to work with.
Featured
This section refers to push notifications that you have marked as featured and will be available for users to find on their app's notification page until you un-feature them.
Sent
This section refers to push notifications that you have previously sent out and will show a short history of said messages.
Archived
This section refers to push notifications that you have chosen to archive/save for use at a later time, you will be able to resend notifications archived on this page at a later time if needed.
Creating Push Notifications
Choose the option to create from the top right of the page:
On the following page, you will see the page you will be using to create, distribute, and schedule push notifications.
Notification Title
This section pertains to the title of the notification that should be nothing more than some eye-catching blurb ex: New Menu Items Added.
Notification Content
This section pertains to the primary content of the notification that will contain what you primarily want to convey to the reader ex: new hamburger menu items added to celebrate our 5th year in operation.
Image URL
This section pertains to the optional image to be included with the notification, you will need to upload your desired image onto your image hosting platform of choice and then get the URL to said image; from there add it to the section and it will be included on your notification ex: "https://7182906.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hub/7182906/hubfs/logo-2.png?height=120&name=logo-2.png"
Schedule For Later
This section needs to be enabled for it to function by clicking on the slider underneath the section.
This section allows you to schedule a message to be sent out at a later time and date of your choosing, click on the date to open a menu that allows you to choose a time and date on a calendar system.
Save your changes/notification
Once you have completed your changes ensure that you click save or send/schedule notification from the bottom of the page and your changes will be saved.
