Definition of CDN (Content Delivery Network) and how it can improve your online ordering page speed.
What is CND?
The primary purpose of a CDN is to increase the number of visits to your website by improving the speed of the website's static content (content on your site that is unchanging/non-moving).
How do I enable CDN?
To enable CDN, login to the page or subdomain where you have your Smart Online Order website plugin installed and from the dashboard click on the red "Clover Orders" option from the left-hand side of the page. From there, on the blue menu click on "Store Settings" and scroll down to the section called "Advanced Settings". At the bottom of that section, you will see the option called "Enable CDN for images". Click on it so that the slider is active to the right. Then scroll down and click on "Save" to save your changes.
What are the benefits of CDN?
A few benefits of CDN are as follows:
- Improve responsiveness by decreasing the website's load time.
- Helps keep the site up handling the amount of visitors to your website at one time.
- Improve SEO with increased site speed. The faster the speed, the more frequently Google will crawl the website's pages, resulting in your content being more widely available and indexed faster.
